ACADEMIC PARTNERSHIP

STUDY ABROAD

STUDY ABROAD. Study abroad is a game-changer and is a unique experiential learning that you can have with UNITAR. We have a network of reputable universities from 7 continents from 70 countries and 112 universities globally. UNITAR offers you wider access to higher education globally. It can affect the course of a student's entire life for the better as they will gain global perspectives and insights on different cultures, languages, environments, international connections, and being more independent as compared to others.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ACADEMIC PROGRESSION, PLACEMENT and ENROLMENT

STUDENT ACADEMIC PROGRESSION, PLACEMENT, and ENROLMENT. We provide full suite of services in curriculum mapping for the successful progression, placement and enrolment of the students for Pre-University Foundation, Diploma Studies, Bachelor Degrees, Master's Degrees, and Doctoral/PhD degrees. We ensure that the students met the academic entry requirements of UNITAR'S programme and international partner universities. UNITAR will provide a commission to our international HEI partner's or bursary to the student for each successful enrolment of the international student.

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT MOBILITY EXCHANGE

STUDENT MOBILITY EXCHANGE PROGRAMS. UNITAR supports and advocates for Transnational Education (TNE) to all nationalities of the world for global learning and exposure in overseas, this includes, without limitation to, study tours, trial classes for school-leavers, summer camp, winter camp, intensive English courses, university foundation programs and other cooperation programs for Pre-University students, Diploma students, Bachelor degree students, Master's degree, and Doctoral/PhD degree students. The mobility exchange period is normally a 2-weeks duration for a short-term visit or up to a longer period of one year. Students from HEI’s will be invited to visit and experience top-notch education as well as vibrant campus life that UNITAR has to offer. All basic services, excluding insurance fees will be borne by UNITAR, upon their arrival to Malaysia. Basic services for short-term visits include: 3 meals for free per day at UNITAR cafeteria, free accommodation in campus hostels (including disposable toiletries), and free transport to and from the airport (air-conditioned buses)

Studying abroad and getting the opportunity to take part in international academic exchanges are ways for universities in various countries to enhance their competitiveness. Realizing this, UNITAR will continue to expand support and cooperation in a yearly basis with the aim to progress at the same pace as other institutions. UNITAR will continue to support collaborative academic projects and joint publication of academic papers and journals with partner universities. For Visiting Scholar Program, UNITAR plans to send doctoral students or professors as visiting scholars to partner universities for 2-weeks of academic exchanges, project collaboration, intensive language intensive training and professional lectures. UNITAR and partner universities will agree on the cost, visa fees for the scholar, meanwhile, daily expenses, accommodation and cost of airfare.

CURRICULUM MAPPING, DESIGN, and DEVELOPMENT of FUTURE EDUCATION. To remain relevant and to transform the Transnational Education offerings, UNITAR continuously connects with the industry and international education partners to get their feedback; review and bring innovation; to make UNITAR academic offerings industry relevant; aligned; and current to the needs of the industry. UNITAR and HEI is committed to cooperate, collaborate, and innovate the needed curriculum development and changes in the academic offerings. For example, by innovating our curriculum offerings for post-graduate courses either by:

(1) combining or packaging our bachelor degree and masters degree into one program (Bachelor + Masteral); and/or

(2) combining or packaging our masters degree and doctoral degree (Masteral + Doctoral) program for both traditional delivery or distance learning and online delivery.

Both partnering universities to ensure meeting the standards of both countries HEI's standards.
